Seychelles
The very delayed honeymoon entry:
Marcus did a lot of research prior to the trip as there isn't a direct flight from Singapore to Seychelles. We boarded Sri Lankan airlines and transited at Colombo. The journey time was about 10 hours (Seychelles is 4 hours behind local time).
We were swiftly introduced to our hill view pool villa upon check in at Banyan Tree Seychelles. Impressive property!!
Drank their locally produced still water the 5 days we were on the island. Great hospitality, exotic fruits (coco de mer), clear waters. We were on half board so we normally have a hearty breakfast in the morning followed by dinner at 7pm.
In between pockets of free time in the afternoon, we chilled by our private pool and also opted for day tours around the island.
We tried to catch the gorgeous sunrise and sunset every other day. Romantic (: Treasured each moment so much!
I have more photos uploaded on Facebook.
The food we ate, the places we visited.
As this stay was part of the honeymoon package, we received gifts, fruit basket, wine, champagne and romantic setups in the villa every other day. This villa stay is by far the most extravagent holiday of my life, ever. But it was worth every bit of our money.. I am super thankful to have shared this special memory with you (:
