A Random act of Kindness

Mum's finally back in Singapore after travelling for 2 weeks (:

Xin Yi is so pretty! Met her at a dinner party yesterday.

Bangkok 07' {reflections}
on the road..
My 1st impression of central thailand was that its pretty underdeveloped.
Impressed with how the vehicles move on the road-speed of lightning!
And the drivers're very courteous, no honking no accidents even though they u-turn anywhere and anytime. I like the fact that there's a counter on traffic lights too.
food for the tina the tummy..
Awesome! love love love the tomyam and pahd thai. i eat it everyday! haha. hotel breakfast buffet was a spread. i told myself to eat more because i dont normally've breakfast in my own home (i wake up in time for lunch though, haha) and we'll be walking lots in the day so we need the energy. room service was a luxury! tao kae noi party every night in hotel room with lil' sister!! HAHA. i was practically drowned in seaweed! everything is cheap there, fastfood etc..
shopping in paradise..
cheap like hell. bought back heaps of clothings. my sisters went nuts too! we can shop till we forgot about lunch. so it was a daily routine to have breakfast and dinner ONLY. imagine the madness. but we didnt do much damage to our pockets! ho ho ho! a pity we didnt get to see all the places we wanted to visit. 5 days is too little!! and the only regret is not buying more DVDs back.
body aches..
our hotel pool was so pretty i just had to take a dip. but guess what, the water was freezing cold and i dont see the sun at all even though its hot as hell out in the streets. all those pollution is enuff to make me sick! for the first time in my life, i tried foot reflexology. SGD4, what a steal! damn, it was ticklish yet so sioooook! dadee and yunhao fell sick on the 3rd day and had to rest all day long in bed..awww :( the men was suppose to protect us women and there they were, in bed! haha. thankfully the vomitting and diahorroeing thingy is over by the 5th day.
the people..
well, i think they're very polite..and gentle when speaking. they're pretty easy to get along with. a stranger on the road helped us with directions and gave us some insights to what sort of things we shld look out for etc. the tuktuk driver was nice to bring us around without extra charges. the hotel manager who serves us during breakfast every morning is sucha darling too! he initiates giving us directions to places knowing we're travelling without a tour guide. we wrote him a thankyou letter after our last breakfast there (: the thais adore their king alot!!! very very impressed with that..the rich culture as well! btw, majority of the people we met there thought we were thais too. O_o
I LOVE BANGKOKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK (:
I thank God for the chance to travel with my family. Our last family holiday was 10 years back. The horror the horror! And im looking forward to our next trip sometime next year after my graduation. Hopefully nobody falls sick this time. Hahaha. I heard my Dadee planning for China - Beijing / Shanghai. Woooooah! Shanghai Tang! Haha..though im not the very oriental-chinesechinesechinese holiday person, i dont mind Shanghai at all! (:
Melly -> ooo..haha. i like pictures too. we didnt have a sleepover..not without you!!!
