An eventful afternoon at SRJC.

Deming helped me alot because i arrived pretty late.

So many technical terms to process.

So much to improve on.

Glad to be part of this alumni event.

And after my BoA project in mid February, i'll go get a DSLR as my reward.

I don't deserve it now, but its definitely a worthy investment!

That evening, a lovely shade of orange painted the skyline and my house looked really cosy in that color when the rays shone through the windows (:

Mum cooked curry this weekend. Finally a complete family dinner together (with my sister's boyfriends all present). Went town for some window shopping, followed by supper at Din Tai Fung. My favourite appetizer was not available :( But it was pretty much a "family" weekend. I treasure it alot.

Recharged for the last week of November!

Lunch - realized i like to eat out. haha. maybe sick of home cooked food. unless Mummy is cooking.

Boss - very nice lady. always ask me how am i coping etc. she didnt even ask the rest of my team. i think she secretly likes me the most :b

Team mates - the 25 year old girl is friendly. we like each other's company. but that 24 year old guy very ungentlemanly. quite a turn off.

Surprise call from Cheryl today. She had a lousy day (over at Melbourne). Ahhh..hope she comes back soon. I miss her :(

Day 1 at Bank of America:

environment - good
bosses - friendly
desk - dusty, faces RC Hotels (my previous employer)
lunch - bad bad bad, dunno how to fight for table during lunch at CBD. queues're ultra long.
job scope - havent really started
team mates - older than me but easy going (:

It was more like an orientation today. But lecture style. Sleepy!
Need coffee from tmr onwards.

Dinner and Dance at Oosh (dempsey) next Friday. Woohoo!!

My thoughts: must be careful, meticulous and systematic. Highly confidential documents so i have to zip zip zip. Else will get sacked. Scary huh.

Gloomy wednesday. Dined with the blondes before hitting the clubs.
Practically club-hopped the entire night O_o
The Arena / Attica / Zouk: christie, helena, weiqi, hui jun, rachel, julia and the woman.
We got tons of free drinks at attica (plus a table thrown in). Helena is good!!!

Rushed to collect stocks for today's launch.
Then got lost on a bus while rushing for a scrap-class at Laines.
Rocket-ed home with Dadee's help, dumped my loot and bus-ed down to airport to send the blondes off.

Some background; Christie Stubbins is my secondary one best friend.
We hung out alot before i got closer to Cheryl in secondary two.
Christie had to move back to Brisbane.

Stayed for a while with Lee Huan to clear my emails at the airport.
We decided to go visit her next year (:
Long bus journey home.
Completed the canvas. Have yet to pick out some family photos for this album. Sharon from Laines is a genius!

Just when i thought i can turn in for the night, i realised i have to complete a kit and a canvas for 2 customers :(

Real busy night for me.
Saturday's gonna be worst.
Photoshoot, launch, tuition and an important family dinner to attend.

Too many funerals lately..

I'm shocked by the death of my Godpa's sister.

Going for the service at IHM later.

I remembered her as a nice lady, rich family background and a super close sibling to my Godpa.

But i guess she's called by the Lord to company Godpa in heaven.
She'll be missed dearly..

Mourning

Grand-Uncle passed on.
My direct relative (daddy's father's brother).
Funeral was a really grand one.
7 days, music band, a grand van, cameras/videos, 1km walk to send him off, 6 coaches, about 100 relatives and 150 other people joined us in the 6 hours procession.

Although i do not have much contact with him, i think he was a really nice man.
My relatives were crying so hard and loud, it kinda scared me.

I prayed for the grieving :(

Its the 1st buddhist funeral in my memory (i've attended my great-grandmother's when i was really little). I think the ceremony, dress code etc is very systematic and traditional. Helps to recognise who is who. Like for example if you're wearing the white tee and green slash, you're a grand-niece/nephew to the deceased.

I'm just feeling kinda "hmm.." now.

By My Side

Finished all 20 episodes.
I think the cast did an awesome job in acting their roles.

One of the better series that touched me so much, I cried buckets with lil' sister while watching it on mobtv.

Love.....its amazing.

Angelina's cards are awesome!
I'm gonna scraplift (with credits all due to her) and start taking in christmas cards pre-order once i'm done with xmas kit.
Actually i signed up for this class because i like ONE card out of her 6 designs.
Plus i went after work so had to sit right at the back of the scrap lab.
Never like to be at the back because you get the last of everything and there isn't much of a choice over the stickers or embellishments.

We were treated to brownies on top of hot chocolate. I snapped up 3 on the plate.
So greedy.

Made a couple of new friends in class..exchange pointers which was really cool.

Args, did i mention i'm super lazy?? This is random musings but ya, i'm so lazy when it comes to scrapping! I ought to be more disciplined.

In another 8 hours, i'll dash down to the store during lunch break and grab some new arrivals. No shopping no motivation. Haha.

Must thank Faith for introducing me to this hobby a couple of years back.
My 19th birthday gift - a workshop at Laines.
Else i wouldn't have taken my handicraft "talent" up a notch.

Don't know if i should be guilty spending 5-8k over the years on this hobby. Gasps. I cannot imagine either.

Blacklisted her a few months ago. She got a new LJ account and i overlooked on the fact they're the same person. Pissed pissed pissed. Besides, she's known for shopping like hell. Which explains why my head was on the roof when she jumped on me back then.

I don't understand. You want something, you make immediate payment. You decided you don't want something after confirming, then you just disappear? Cowards.
