Soul Mate
I asked if you'll be willing to be just a friend to me.
No replies since i last emailed you.
So i guess its a no?
I care about you a lot as a friend. So please dont ignore me.
I tried. The last 6 months i did put in some effort.
Introducing you to my family & friends, hanging out with you..
The romantic feelings just didnt come..and i was honest with you about it.
Now, you're just ignoring me.
Great.

Always good to be reminded yet again
ONE. Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.
TWO. Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.
THREE. Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
FOUR. When you say, 'I love you,' mean it.
FIVE. When you say, 'I'm sorry,' look the person in the eye.
SIX. Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
SEVEN. Believe in love at first sight.
EIGHT. Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much.
NINE. Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.
TEN. In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.
ELEVEN. Don't judge people by their relatives.
TWELVE. Talk slowly but think quickly.
THIRTEEN. When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, 'Why do you want to know?'

SEVENTEEN. Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; and Responsibility for all your actions.
EIGHTEEN. Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

I evaluated the entire situation after a long chill out session at Starbucks with Cindy.
Love this girl to bits. She got me some goodies from Korea!
She is just not so worth it as a 'regular' friend after all:
1) she doesnt care if i get enough rest. a good friend will tell me to rest up before meeting. i was jet lag to the max and i had work the next day. what did you do for me? you hounded me like a crazy girl.
2) she is totally not sensitive to my needs
3) she crossed the line when she asked other people for my address
4) money can test a lot of things (just like how it tested me & Liyu 3 years back)
5) you're so fake
6) i cant communicate with people who dont understand English. My last sms to you was NOT to come. and there you go insisting i should have called you. calling & smsing is the same. if i called u and told you not to come, the result would still be the same. so why shld i waste money calling you when i have made it clear over sms? why cant you just accept it when i told you not to come and to give me this weekend to rest before meeting up? you gave me tons of missed calls. gave J the same amount. any idea how psychotic you behaved? You said you didnt mean it. I'm sure you did.
7) you're in denial
8) you've an issue with money
9) you acted like a crazy girl hounding me & my friends, flooding my inbox with nothing but your smses
10) total drama queen. you over-reacted.
11) not understanding, keep insisting on collecting it even after my 25hours long haul
12) i have every right to judge you for this matter & you know you're the one at fault
13) you don't appreciate my help at all. i dont sense appreciation & there's no prove of it. period.
14) you're so fickle minded. none of these would have happened if you've passed me GBP2100 before i left
15) you doubted me & i hate this. HATE is the word.
You know it babe, you just dont care about me enough as a friend. you're making use of me. You can argue your case but your ugly character is already the obvious answer to everything. After all, they say actions speak louder than words.
I admit i got annoyed because you implied you didn't want to topup. You know i will out-smart you. If i've allowed you to collect it at the airport/my home, you wouldnt've paid the topup. Only when i said i was going to sell it, then you offered to pay the extra for exchange rate difference and phone calls involved. My family told me to refund you and sell others who are more willing to pay for it. Fuss free. Isn't it absolutely natural to cover all costs involved? Why should i topup for you when you're asking a favor from me? Who are you.
Its so embarrassing you can walk into Prada & HulaCo to ask for discounts. Or make a loud & silly remark at Tiffany's.
There's a whole lot of other small silly matters but i shall bury them all after this entry.
It's over. You've apologized but we both know things will never be the same again. Some people, considering their age, should start evaluating their current lifestyle and realize it's time to transit into the next stage of maturity. I'm reminding myself the same too.

Even when Dine comes over to collect her spree items, which are worth much lesser than your Chanel jumbo for sure, she buys me a cake as a sign of appreciation. Sucha darling i tell you. She demonstrated point #1. Refer to the above.
Mind you, your bag is from London, not Orchard Road. I helped you to save SGD1400 already. What else do you want? Don't calculate with me. I wasnt joking about the topup. Why would i joke about it. Some people just want to pay the other party the exact amount for the item. I should charge a concierge fee to evil people next time. How would i have known right. I thought she was a nice friend.
I am not afraid even if you happen to stumble across this entry.
My conscious is clear.
Thank you to woman, faith, melly, angeline & J for listening to me prior to this entry (:

--
Emirates $1304.40

Eurostar to Lille (return) $311.41
Lille to Dunkerque (return) $45.50
Total: $2908.55

London [day 11]
Another 5643 miles, flying past Milan, Athens, Baghdad, am here at Dubai 4am for a transit at 7.40am later.
Happy to be at this airport because there's free wireless & a socket point to charge my mac.
Not happy cause there is pigeon shit on my couch. Weird right. Lazy to find Krisflyer lounge. Sister is fast asleep. we have about another 13 hours to go before we land at Terminal 1.
In flight meal was yummy, and the man sitting beside us was very nice.
Watched Avatar & 7 things to do before i'm 30.
They had live screening of world cup on 2 channels. Awesome la!!
--
After cooking lunch, Su sent us off at Vauxhall station. Luggage was mad heavy. We were struggling a lot. Had to change at Green Park to take the Piccadilly Line to Heathrow Terminal 3. Imagine our hands all numb, shoulders aching, sweating after 90mins of endurance.
Managed to get our Oyster card refund, VAT refund & boarding pass done within 90mins. Quick shopping at duty free (i got these awesome Chanel tattoos & sis got some cosmetics, service was excellent). Crazy soccer fans were gathered around the flat screens before boarding.
Think i'll catch a wink before another 7 hours on flight to Singapore.
It's been 13 hours since we left Su's house.

London [day 10]
Chanel was the good friend of the Duke of Westminster so you'll see her logo on all the lamp-posts in Westminster (:
Had lunch with the girlies at Canela (Carnaby street) before proceeding to do some last minute shopping.
Went home to cook dinner.
Had an awful day because i had cramps last night and earlier this morning.
My period is not even here yet..moody..lethargic! :(
Have to be at the airport by 2pm tmr although my flight is at 5pm.
I foresee a really long queue at the VAT refund counter. Sigh.
How to carry all my barangs on the tube during peak hour!

So sorry, i wont be getting any gifts back. Unless you've made prior arrangements with me.
Everything is mad expensive here. But branded goods are always at a steal *happy

Wah liew..annoyed. Some friends are just not very sensitive. I'm not afraid if you're reading this. I hate it when people dont know what you go through to help them..

Lil sis' bf Luke, is here for some cycling event and she's here to visit as well as celebrate his 21st (:
Lunch was at Claridge's, Gordon Ramsay's restaurant.
Starters & main impressed us a great deal. Desserts were a disappointment.
Service was fantastic & maitre d Jean (super hilarious guy) took us on a kitchen tour.
Got to meet head chef, Steve Allen too!
Might be driving down to Belgium tmr.
Get some chocolates or maybe i should sleep in. Take a walk around the maritime port, enjoy some sea view. Traveling around has been so tiring! :(

London [day 4]
Cold & wet day over here in London.
Woke up bright & early for Primark before heading to Harrods.
Everything at Harrods is so pretty! Very lavish.
Lunched at the food hall. Mad ex but mad satisfied (:
Got my Chanel large flap bag at Sloane's. Everywhere else was sold out. Took a long time on deciding between the lambskin & caviar. Super anal about the scratches and punctuations. So i think caviar was the better choice for me. Its weird, but i didnt particularly felt happy after making the purchase. My lil sis pointed out it was because i get everything i want. Spoilt brat?! No lor..i work hard for things i want..
Went home to have dinner, then it was Big Ben & London Eye (9pm, relatively bright still).
Wow. Amazing architecture! (:
We're heading to Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and perhaps Bicester Village & Tower Bridge if time permits tmr. For now, i just want to sleep my day away!! Exhausted.
Total damage for the day: GBP40 (excludes Chanel)

Church service was awesome. Cute kids! And the adults were reaaaaallly pro-active.
Lunch at Chinatown, 20 of us. Yummy dim sum (:
Walked around Oxford, Selfridges and Carnaby before heading to Noelle's new apartment.
As usual, some Spain festival going on & roads were closed. Walked a fair bit today..
Was so clumsy in the kitchen while trying to help prep for dinner O_o
Noelle and lil sis keep asking me to go high street for shopping instead..hahaha
There were about 16 people on the guest list.
Pot luck, everyone bought yummy home cooked food.
Sky was dark by 10pm so all of us headed home.
Tired.
Tmr's another long day ahead.
Wanna conquer Primark, Harrods and perhaps Covent Garden.
Total damage for the day: GBP10.55

London [day 2.5]
High Street Kensington: was really excited when i saw Urban Outfitters there. There was a demonstration going on and the road was closed. Notting Hill Station was closed for the day and it caused a lot of inconvenience! :(
Primark & Selfridge: shopping here is awesome except for the mad weekend crowd. Went into Chanel, but my bag was out of stock. Will check back on Monday when they restock.
Bank -> Limehouse: BBQ at Noelle's friend's new apartment. Really pretty view with a nice balcony. Food was awesome, mingle with new faces..caught Britain's Got Talent. Sun was still up at 9.30pm when we left. Yawns. Just wanna go to bed now. Gotta wake up early for church tmr..

15 hours [day 1]
6013 miles, here i am at Dubai airport.
7 hours of flight was torturous.
The man at the window seat was a smoker and when he breathes, OMG.
Even my lil sis who was sitting at the aisle can smell it!
It was like taking in HIS carbon dioxide throughout the journey.
Couldn't sleep well at all. I was trying not to rely on my sleeping pills.
This is economy class for you.
Too tired to take photos of the 2 meals on board.
Completed Case 39, Couple's retreat & How to Train a Dragon.
Shall conquer more movies.
Transiting to London (Heathrow) in 2 hours time.
The airport is not too bad.
Free wireless is all i need for survival.
Shall catch a good sleep later (another 7hours), and maybe watch Valentine's Day & Glee.
Inflight entertainment is good!
(back to replying emails..)
Melly -> i tried calling you before i fly, but i guess it was too late already. see you when im back darlin! xx
Angele -> when are u leaving? (: i'll share with you my experience here daily if possible..hehe
