week 28: hello 3rd trimester

On the left of the ultrasound is buttercup's head, eye socket, and basically her side profile.
Her legs are over her nose, what a gymnast.
She's still in a breech position, Poon said there is still plenty of time for her to turn down.

46.9kg, didn't gain any weight but she's about 900g now.
Her BPM measures 161, so everything is going well.
I have been sick the past few days; severe coughing.
Coughed until my muscle got strained, haven't been sleeping well because of that too.

Gynae checkups will be once every 2 weeks from now on (:
I feel the upgrade in status haha!

How do i help her put on another 1600g in 12 weeks?

More onesies gifted by Hans and Janice (:
Love them prints hehe
Wondering if i should invest in a changing mat for after showers.
Havent purchase those cotton balls, wipes and bath essentials.
Hoping to do some last minute expo shopping at Baby World 2016 in January.

Last week's 1st antenatal session at Mount A went well, though a bit boring in my opinion.
Its about food, nutrition and some pregnancy myths.
If you have gone for many baby seminars, can consider skipping the first class.
There're refreshments provided for during the 45mins break.
Of course i'm sure its part of the $240.75 we have paid.
They gave us a goodie bag with more maternal milk (Nestle), oh yucks.
So far Annum and Friso taste the best.

week 23

We finally bought a crib for buttercup! (:
Farska mini joint bed neo was our top choice for its simplicity and size.
Plus, it will fit really well in our scandi/minimalist-themed home next year.
No screws or allen key for installation, say whattttt.
This crib can be joined to our queen sized bed, transformed into a kids bench and also a playpen.
Made of premium New Zealand pine wood so it will be free from insects and mold.

That's Sky trying out the new crib :b
Not to worry, we haven't removed the mattress out of its security bag.
Will assemble it when she's born next year.
Another 17 weeks to go (taking 40 weeks as full term).

I love this faux fur throw!
And all the itsy-bitsy-cutey clothes (:
My back is aching and my stomach feels stretched-thin.
Can't wait to meet you already, will time pass any faster please?

week 17: Don't get me started

It's so hard not to get too carried away with all the adorable baby paraphernalia out there!
I shall strive harder to be a more responsible and sensible Mummy haha

Recently discovered Privi-Kids and so i bought buttercup her first pair of socks.
Of course it won't be till 2016/2017 till she can wear it, still!!!!

Then i got distracted and went on buying a Jellycat bear for myself, i cannot resist his podgy tummy!! He is incredibly soft and fluffy (:

I have a box of new Carter's clothing waiting to welcome her and also JamieKay's cot blanket.

Oh i got the Solly Baby Wrap too!!!!
Legit buy, this one.

We obviously have no idea what's her gender (so i try to be as neutral as possible) but it doesn't even matter :D
I know we still have an essentials list to buy before all these should come in, so the shopping shall stop here till the gender reveal. Looking forward to Mummy's Market on the 9th Oct!

Be kind to each other, peace out!
