32 Weeks Post Partum: How to prepare simple baby porridge
This pack cost $5+ from NTUC.
Its great for cooking porridge.
I'm by no chance an expect chef.
But if you are interested, this is how i usually prep her meals.
For breakfast, she have oatmeal cereal with breastmilk.
Then i offer her a banana or apple slice as appetiser followed by porridge.
Rinse and soak for an hour as per instructions on packet.
Prep ingredients.
I've prepared pumpkin, carrots, broccoli for her today.
Mix and match with tofu, zucchini, spinach.
Bring chicken thigh to boil and remove meat/bones.
Sieve and pour stock back into pot.
Add in ingredients and slow cook for 15mins at least.
Cut and fold rice grain until gooey.
Remove from pot and blend to consistency.
She doesn't take a lot so i end up eating the leftovers.
Yummy (:

Mustela 14 days challenge
This post is sponsored but i present my honest opinions nonetheless.
And Audria has been on their derma-cleansing bath and vitamin barrier since birth.
They have recently rebrand and redesigned their derma range.
But it works the same.
She is currently at the stage where by she puts everything in her mouth.
As you all know, i have been a huge fan of Mustela products.
Since i was pregnant last year, i have been using their stretch marks lotion.
Post-Pregnancy, i am still applying their body firming gel.
You can read all about it in my past entries.

Mustela have kindly sent me their latest Dry Skin range to try:
Bath Oil
Nourishing lotion with cold cream (body)
Facial cold cream
I was thinking "great! Ever since the scabies episode, my poor girl has been suffering from dry skin and eczema due to the frequent use of Desowen Lotion".
I will share more about this episode on a separate entry.
Dry skin is a very common problem for infants and newborns.
Their skin is sensitive, delicate and flaky during the first few days or weeks after birth.
You may want to avoid bathing a newborn too often as it strips their skin of the natural moisture and oil.
I remember giving Audria her first "real" bath in the tub after her full month party.
During the first 30 days, i just wipe her down or sponge her private area.
At 7 months, she is currently enjoying bath time a lot.

ION nursing room
This is the one at Level 5, beside Crate & Barrel.
Spacious, quiet and clean.
Its big enough to push a pram in.
Only thing is that it accommodates 1 family at a time.
With a chair placed at the corner (no lock no curtain) for nursing, you might want to lock this parents room so you don't expose yourself to patrons that might want to come in for water.
Conducive. I like (:

Compass One Nursing Room
This is the main one at level 4; Friso Supermom Room
Clean, spacious.
Hot and cold water dispenser, 2 cubicles and 3 changing stations.
Cubicles with locks are the best (or worst).
It prevent Dads from peeking in (those with curtains are really one of the worst).
But you tend to see others abusing the rooms.
However, the main door cannot be locked thus you see tenants and random shoppers coming in for water. Thats one thing i don't like because it lacked the privacy for family/mothers.
There are other smaller scale nursing room on each floor if you require a quick diaper change.
Overall, its a rather baby-friendly mall (:
Check out Motherworks, Babyspa and Kiddy Palace if you fancy some baby shopping.
