Reunion

Found that photo in my folder. Memories. =) I really hate that dress by the way. The wardrobe had a hard time fitting us into those shiny jeweled clothes. Looks totally figure-less on me. Maybe i am but whatever. They actually said "I miss those Miss Singapore girls" as they were busy readjusting the strings and what-nots on us during fitting. I took it as a direct insult.

Those pineapple tarts are frikkin temptin. But we all know pineapple aint good for the complexion. And those bua_guas..oily yet delicious. Ughs..

Mum actually made us buy pjs. I hate the designs but since its once in a year, buy lor. Haha. Reunion dinner tonight. Steamboat. *slups*

Huge fight with my lil' sister yesternight. Sometimes, people just wont admit they're wrong. Gets on my nerves. Just dont borrow my stuff if u cant return them in the same exact way i've lent u. Period.

Couldnt stand the heels, only 1 who changed into slip-ins. haha. my skin sucks.

Contrary & Provocative

Today, I walked all the way home from a certain bus-stop. Mind you, it was 3km away from where i stay. The wind was cool, almost about to rain but it never did. What a familiar feeling. As i walked on, i felt like i was going to cry. And of course i have no idea why the water starts swelling up in my eyes. I havent walked that path since 3 years back. My feet just wouldnt stop moving. It made me feel..i dont know how it made me feel. But i certainly didnt want to stop walking. I continued to keep pace..

Was talking to L at school today. How familiar things were, to a certain extent. No matter how many times my closest friend talk sense into me, it never sink into my head because i couldnt overcome my own feelings. The whole escapism and self-pity crap. I've learnt alot from love. Or rather, it helped mature me quite a bit. Yet, i feel as kiddish as i can be.

If time was the factor, i guess it did put feelings to a test. I'm afraid sometimes. It's like as if i'm leading a double life. Behind his back perhaps? Self-control is something im learning how to deal with all the time. Just wish things were a whole lot simplier.

Every other month, i find myself at my family doctor's clinic asking for more medicine. Allegy problem this time. He said my pets were the cause of it. Haha. Kidding me??

30th Jan, Paul Van Dyk coming down to Zouk. Guaranteed a busy night. To my fortune and misfortune, Oliver asked me to work for him next Monday. Which implies that i wont be able to make it to DXO. But thank you Wyn, for offering to hold the tickets till i can confirm with ya. What a pity cause i really wanted to party!!

Term's ending in 2 weeks. Followed by intensive revision for exams in May. Gonna mug my arse off.

Wenta Queensway Shopping Centre with family yesternight after dinner. I dont really like that place because its flocked by certain kinda youngsters. And i'm not that young anymore, i get very judgemental. I hate the idea of turning 20 this July.

Been watching MTV day in and out. I like Beyonce's new video- check on it. Lindsay Lohan- confessions of a broken heart. Personally, i dont quite like it.

Kept counting down the time whereby i get to go home at Member's Bar yesternight. Maybe i really loathe the job. Why cant i find a job that i like? Wait, what do i like? And why the hell did Angeline give me a kiss when i barely know her?! Yuks, got teased by the disgusting bartenders again. So infuriating. The thing about "hairy rambutan". Gross.

Finally got a new cordless phone. Call me call me call me!! Haha, i hate using the standard handset cause i cant move around and do other things while having a long conversation with my friend.

Did my CNY shopping. Got clothes from Ebase, Fontieer, Surfbabe, Forever21 and of course Triumph. Actually, they're clothes with the price-tag still on in the shopping bags. Picked them out for the occasion. Haha. Gonna get a refund from Mom.

After 7 days at Nestle, they found someone who'll be more committed to the job than I am. So i guess its bubye to free Choco-latte, Choco-mocha, Milo, Mash Potato, Kit Kat and $15 per hour! It kinda urges me to read the papers EVERYDAY now. Media monitoring is great!

I'm officially jobless with no extra income. Otherwise helping out now and then at Zouk. No more money to save. I can finally put my energy into books.

Unfortunate event - My maid has gone over to help out at my Aunt's place (her maid got sent back). We're trying to survive without 1 at home for the couple of days. I'm dying already. I can't fold the clothes nicely. Washing the dishes is rather disgusting to me. Jacq, come back to mama soon!!

Hari Raya Haji

Dirtyboy came over yesterday. Had the entire afternoon to ourselves. *grins* Watched DVDs and i think Narnia is not exactly a good show. King Kong's great. I wanna catch Memoirs of Geisha soon soon soon!

By the end of the month, i should be able to save 1k. I'm working hard. I will work hard. =) Mum wants to bring me aboard for shopping soon. But i dont know when's my holiday. Excited..!

Wet weather..quite irritating. Have to bring jacket and umbrella out. Extra weight.

But since they're new, there're personal shower rooms in certain rooms. It's so cool!! Haha. Their toilet bowl dont have the "special" function though. Yes, let's go back next month babe??

A sinner

New Year Resolution:

1) Save ALL my work money.
2) No more material wants. But an item a month doesnt hurt, does it? *grins*
3) Cut down on swear words. (i broke this resolution mid-way last year).
4) Do well in school.

I've officially quit my job at Zouk yesternight. Had enough. Think i rather study hard for my upcoming exams in May. But nevertheless, i still need an income for some other purposes like saving and insurance. The regulars there last night were very generous with tips..and Lionel got pissed i forgot his name. Haha. He's cute lar..vocation's officer! Only 22 and i dont know where he finds time to drink and spend so much money.

And thus, I'm working at Nestle for my aunt Elaine. Job scope is media monitoring. 3 hours each day, 5 day-week, $15 per hour. I summarize articles, scan, cut and paste them. Definitely better than working my arse off at night in the sense that i've more time for revision.

Bioskin Beauty Contest has come to a closure. I didnt win but i thank those who went there to support me. Mainly my family, relatives, sisters' friends, Shu Ming, Edward, Jasmine and Grace. Zhang Hao told me that he just saw the advert on teevee. Sigh. Hope no other sees it. *digs a hole*

By the way, i'm traumatised with Discovery Channel: Wild Sex. I'm beginning to think that we humans're like animals when our sexual needs arise. Definitely shocked at the length of an elephant's penis. Ew. Reminds me of the family trip to the Zoological Gardens on 30 Dec. We had so much fun behaving like overgrown kids that day. Haha.

Emily sis' 21st party at the condo was great. Bought her a cake from Emicakes. Had a good time catching up with my cousins and ex-neighbours. Amy & I actually played a foolish game: seeing who's chiken and chiken chop will be BBQed most beautifully. Boredom? Haha. Wasnt my 21st anyway. *grins*

The other day, i bumped into Wyn at Dhoby Ghaut. She was yelling for help. And guess for what. To get to Somerset!!! *faints* Haha..super hilarious??!! And so i saved her day directing her like what a kind Singaporean would do to a confused tourist. Haha, mind you, she's a local studying in Melbourne.

Went Paragon's STRIP for an appt with lil' sis in the late afternoon. I must must must comment that i prefer the auntie who helped me with brazilian waxing at Holland's branch! The wax that they used was upgraded recently (and so was the price) and yet there were obvious red blotches. O_o
